The Bluff House Inn is perfectly located for convenient and enjoyable day trips up or down our exquisite coastline. While at the Inn, you can enjoy all the splendors of Schoodic Peninsula, Frenchman Bay, and Acadia National Park-- without the crowds and the traffic! The immediate area offers various island trips, hiking/biking through wooded trails, family fun sea tours, launching your kayak or canoe from our pink granite shores, a vibrant local arts community, and even cross-country skiing excursions during the winter season.

If you prefer a more quiet retreat, you can enjoy the Inn's wrap around porches (upstairs and downstairs) to read a book or watch the sailboats gliding through the harbor. You can take a leisurely walk down the Blueberry path to our private beach and have a picnic on the stony shore and hop in the ocean for a refreshing swim. Whether you are looking for an outdoor adventure or a place to sit back, relax, and watch the sunset over the bay, the Bluff House Inn offers the comforts of home with the pleasures of vacation.
