High above Frenchman's Bay, The Bluff House Inn offers stunning panoramic ocean views throughout New England's four seasons. The beautiful post and beam-style Inn lies on the east side of the Schoodic Peninsula, situated near the picturesque fishing village of Winter Harbor and within miles of the Schoodic region's Acadia National Park.

In addition to the charming Inn with 9 cozy rooms, the property also offers 10 rustic cabins, a fully furnished log cabin home, and a spacious 2-bedroom apartment above the garage offering stunning ocean views. As guests, you are welcome to gather by the cozy outdoor or indoor fireplace, play games, have a cold Maine brew on the porch, take in the smell of the salty ocean breezes, hike down to the ocean on our private trail through the woods on property or put your feet up in the Inn's main room. Our goal is to offer you comfort and privacy whether you're passing through or staying for vacation.

ROOMS

All inn rooms have vented/window AC units (except Chickadee), free WiFi, fans, a private bathroom and toiletries. Our rooms range from one queen size to a full and a twin, as well as two queen sized beds.

Our ten cabins have a queen bed, a small table, a fridge, a private bathroom, linens towels etc and a small deck facing the ocean. All individual units with AC. All have amazing sunset views!

This place is amazing! If you are visiting Acadia, the Bluff House Inn is the best place to stay. Not in crowded Bar Harbor but still close enough to Acadia and closer to the hidden gems of Acadia. The owner is absolutely wonderful and told us about all of the secret breathtaking spots that no one really knows about, so we had gorgeous views all to ourselves. The cabin was clean, cute, and comfortable with beautiful views of the water, and the house has even better views to sit on the front porch and enjoy. I will never stay anywhere else when I go back to this area! Thank you so much Bluff House Inn, I will never forget how kind you were!

The perfect spot to get some R & R and take in gorgeous scenery. Loved the view from the cabins, which were also amazingly clean and comfy. Also a great location to explore Acadia without having to be in crowded Bar Harbor, but close enough for access to everything we needed, including less touristy spots recommended by the Inn's owner (who was super friendly and helpful). Loved everything about this stay!
